Legendary Mexican-American actor Edward James Olmos recently paid a visit to California Paintball Park in Castaic, CA for a day of paintball!  Olmos, who's career dates back more than 30 years, is well-known for his roles in iconic movies including Stand & Deliver and Selena, as well as popular television shows like Battlestar Galactica, where he played Admiral William Adama.

Olmos and his group opted to use the Spyder Paintball .50 Caliber markers for the day, where afterwards he made a special point to mention how much he liked using the .50 Caliber equipment.  He even allowed himself to be shot on purpose by one of his friends to see if the .50 Caliber impact was less than than of a .68 Caliber ball, which he agreed it was.

In addition to his storied film and television career, Olmos has also done considerable work in the community, having co-founded a number of organizations including the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and the Latino Public Broadcasting network.  After speaking with California Paintball Park Manager Chris Neill, Olmos stated that he can't wait to come back for more paintball at the park!
